We can’t give 1:1 or emergency support for people in a crisis. If this is what you need right now, you can find ways to access it on our website.
I need urgent helpAs part of Mind's Mental Health in the Age of AI Commission, we’re inviting people to share their experiences of AI tools and the impact they may be having on mental health.
🤔 What is the Commission?
- The Commission was launched in July 2026 and aims to explore how AI is shaping people’s mental health experiences and access to support.
- It wants to help inform future policy and regulation of mental health chatbots.
❓ What is the Commission trying to find out?
• What AI tools people have used in relation to their mental health
• What impact AI has had on people’s mental health
• What risks people see in using AI for mental health information, advice and support
• What would help people stay safe when using AI
• How AI is affecting access to mental health information, advice and support for different groups
👩💻 How is the commission gathering insight?
- Mind has put together a survey to collect evidence and experiences from real people.
👵 What criteria do I need to take the survey?
- You must be 18+ and living in England or Wales.
- You don't need anything else to take part. Just a willingness to share your experience! There are no right or wrong answers 💙
📅 When does the survey close?
- The survey closes on 16 October 2026.
🕐 How long does it take:
- You can take your time completing it, and you can submit more than one response if you have different perspectives to offer.
👨💻 Will my data or information be shared?
- Your responses are anonymous. However, Mind may share themes and key quotes, but no one - including us - will ever know your identity.
- Don't share any personal details about you or anyone else in this survey, such as your name, age or location.
💙 Is it voluntary?
- Taking part is voluntary - you can stop completing this form if you change your mind, or skip some sections, but we may keep and use the answers you submit.
