I need urgent helpWe know that the political landscape in America can have a big impact on the UK, and we know that the results of the election might cause worry or upset for some members. While we ask members not to share political opinions as it can cause division and arguments in the community, it's ok to share feelings that may come up because of the news.
It's ok to:
- Talk about any emotions that have come up because of the election:
"I'm feeling really anxious about the results"
"I'm worried about how this will impact people in the future...."
"I'm feeling drained with all this news"
It's not ok to:
- Share your opinion on these events:
"The right person won" - To share your opinion as if it is a fact:
"[X] is the person that is going to change America" - To share information (links, articles, videos) that cannot be fact checked/false news.
- To engage in debate or disagreements on this topic
